The scream told her everything she needed to know.
Her burning rock had hit its target.
In his consistent lack of attacking, Bianca hesitated, standing in the open with the small space between them. There was a slight clear in the mist around him, and she was sure he would be perfectly able to see just about anything she would do. Her hand still burning, head ever so slightly spinning, Bianca decided to do nothing toward the Ranger. He would either come close, lose connection with the earth and fall into the lava, or he would eventually get tired of holding that big rock. But as she stood there, the rocks covering her opposite arm began to crack as she shifted her magic focus to the burning flesh on her hand, asking the heat of the rocks to heal the smoldering flesh.
Just breathe. Bianca tried to focus herself on relieving the pain, but at the same time, in the back of her mind, a dark distaste whispered. Filthy human deserved it.
