For thousands of years, chosens live among us, who live two life: One in our reality, and one in their dreams. In a magical world, where titans battle with dark angels, elves fight wars with girs, and dragon-priests contracting with dragons, where the valor and devotion created a prosperous empire, extruding the scum of man and the monsters of darkness...
The Chosens are prophets, storytellers, poets and warriors of ages, who has to stand their ground in two worlds, and they didn't told their secrets. But the time has come, when the Reality, and the magical world won't be separated anymore, and have to exist together.
Hundreds and more wake up from day to day in this other world, they contaminate it with their thoughts and their technological knowledge. Hundredds of men and woman wake up in their beds, and they bring here the spirit of fight and war. The clouds of war rallying over Dreamworld, and in the reality, secret agencies swing into action...

But a prophecy foretold, that some new Chosens, new Dreamers will change everything...

In the start of the RP, every player can create only one character: A dreamer. Later on, as the story goes, and the players will know more and more about Dreamworld, they will have the option to create an other dreamer (Who is more skilled than the other character. He can be a Wizard, a Knight, or anything else) or a Dreamworlder (the possibilities are quite wide: Elves, Girs, Dwarves, Anubians, Humans for playable races just to start on).

Your character can be from anywhere from our world, any gender, any age, and can have any occupation. But watch out! There will be events in the Reality too, not just the Dreamworld!

"The Game Master runs the NPC's (Non Player Characters) and the Environment. Look at the Dreamworld IC, where Weirdo's character awakened in a cellar of an inn. I play the innkeeper and his brother. The GM won't have a real character, but he or she gives some life to the environment. Just like in real world: You are you, and everybody else has their own intentions, dreams and goals."

This sounds like a brilliant idea! I am quite interested...
I'm just feeling a little unsure as to what, exactly, the dreamers are... And what they do...? I tend to be quite slow to understand things, so if you could explain a little more, I'd be very grateful!

Also, approximately how many words would you expect per post?

The Dreamers: People, who born in our world, and living in our time. The year is 2011. But one point in their life (which will be the opening post for everybody), they "dream" themselves into Dreamworld. They live there too. From this point, they won't have any normal dreams again. The Dreamers will be part of the other world. They fall asleep here, wake up there, and when they wake up in our world, they vansih from Dreamworld, until they fall asleep again.

The Dreamers are changing the Dreamworld, they bring some technology, philosophy, even relegion there. They reshape this vast land of fantasy, where magic is natural and part of the everyday life.

Our world seems to be unknowing about this other "dimension", but some secret agencies learn about it these days, and have their plans for Dreamworld. A Dreamer could be anybody: A writer, a soldier, a tailor, a businessman, a high-school student, a grocery store clerk, a gang member, and from any of our countries.

At first, all the Dreamers are frightened of the new situation, mainly because they never heard of anything like it. And they have to make their choices, and form the history of Dreamworld.

Edit: I hope everybody could write approximatly 200-220 word at least in their posts.

Name: Desriol Mordrid
Nickname: Dez
Age: 19 Years
Gender: Male

Nationality: Greek
Place of Living: South Africa

Bio: Desriol was born and raised in Greece. When he was five years old, his father left to fight in a war against the Turks, and little Desriol was left with his mother, two younger sisters, and a newborn baby brother. He spent his early childhood helping his mother to raise his younger siblings, so he seldom got to interact with other children his own age, apart from his own family. He soon because a dark, withdrawn sort - locking himself in his room for hours on end, just to be on his own.
When he turned fourteen, his mother fell ill and passed away - leaving him to care for his younger siblings, until the council found about them, and took them all away to an orphanage.
Desriol hated the strict structure of the place, and the daily unavoidable socialising with the rest of the orphans. So he broke out and fled, stowing away on ships and planes until he finally found himself in South Africa. He became a groundskeeper for a graveyard, since he decided he likes people far better when they're dead. He stays on his own in a cottage on the outskirts of the graveyard, and spends his days quite contentedly moping around in his solitude.

Personality: Dark and mysterious. Desriol is quick to anger, and slow to forgive. He has a violent streak that he is not afraid to show. He is cynical and pessimistic, and treats anything that he considers 'troublesome' with complete nonchalance. He is brutally honest, and always speaks his mind.
Though he is not the friendly sort, Desriol is determined and fiercely loyal.
He is not afraid to put his life on the line, and treats any danger with risky disregard.

Appearance: The description 'tall, dark and handsome' leaps to mind. Desriol is the typical cold, aloof, loner-type mystery boy. He is relatively tall, and well toned. He has a broad, muscular chest, and strong arms that are clearly better suited to fighting than to loving. His hands are large and rough, and calloused from the harsh work of grave-digging. He has high, prominent cheekbones, and slightly hollow cheeks. His lower jaw juts out slightly, composed of harsh lines, and permanently clenched. His features are unique and striking, though in an unfriendly fashion.
His eyebrows -permanently drawn together in a frown - are thick and dark, clearly showing his Greek heritage, though his skin is slightly paler than the olive-tone one would expect of a Greek, since he seldom ventures into the sun. His eyes, at first glance, appear to be black - though if studied closely, they are actually a dark brown, flecked with pinpricks of hazel. The expression in them is generally cold and aloof.

His hair is thick, dark and slightly curled. It falls across his face in a jagged side-fringe, and stretches down to cover his ears on either side, reaching almost to his jawline. It is never tidy - but the casual, messy look seems to suit him, and almost makes him look neater than if it were perfectly combed. He sometimes lets a faint stubble grow out on his chin and upper lip, but most of the time he keeps clean shaven.

His clothing of choice consists of bulky leather boots, somewhere between knee and ankle height, and strapped up with bulky steel buckles. He wears plain black pants with lots of pockets and a leather belt studded with silver.
A plain white, suit-style shirt is generally left unbuttoned at the top, with the collar sticking up in an awry fashion. This is covered by a long, black, Gothic-style coat, with a high up-turned collar that almost reaches Desriol's jawline. The bottom flaps near his ankles, and inside is a labyrinth of large, handy pockets. The coat is worn and tatty, but Desriol is never seen without it.

I haven't done very many group RPs, or anything quite as 'adventurous' as this... So if I'm not doing it right, please feel free to let me know. I want to improve.

Also, I have very little free time, so my posts will probably be relatively short (I'll make sure to stick to 200 words, though) - but I'll definitely make an effort to throw in some long ones when I have the time... And motivation...
