Link had a pretty normal childhood with her parents and her older brother Mikie. Both her father and mother made pretty good money so she lived pretty comfortably. Everything changed when her brother was killed in a car accident when she was about 11 or 12. She then started to have nightmares and was diagnosed with insomnia.

Her parents tried to help but nothing was helping. Then the following year during Halloween she found special effects makeup. At first her parents were hesitant, but after watching her they realized it was therapeutic to Link, and allowed her to continue. She continued all throughout middle and high school until she went to Beauty school, getting her Bachelor's and starting her YouTube channel PulseFX
