Average height and lithe build, Scarlet is the embodiment of a survivor grim set face, hard eyes, and the body and wit to always find the angle needed to win. Her bright red hair is as much her pride as her calling card. When Red Jenny is around you know fools will fall and a single bit of red string will be somewhere at the scene of the crime.

Personality: Independent and mistrusting Scarlet has been on her own for years. Avoiding the Agents, Order, and Defiance and striking out at all of them should they annoy her enough. As vengeful as she is guarded, but to those that see past her tough girl exterior they see the scared little girl who has lived her whole life without a mother's love or a father's protection.

>Strengths: Street wise, sly, skilled at disguises, thievery, and slight of hand, impeccable liar, foraging, and knife fighting.
>Weaknesses: Not formally educated, cannot read or write very well. Quick to anger and even quicker to hold a grudge. Her own instincts of self preservation make her selfish and often cruel at times, lives by the motto she doesn't have to be fast if she hamstrings the idiot next to her and lets them get snatched or killed.

Backstory: Scarlet's earliest memories are at age five when her powers manifested. She was being looked after by a nice homeless man, but one day she swatted at a fly and the nice man had dropped dead right in from of her. At first she thought it was a heart attack, but when she ran out into the street waving her arms and trying get someone to help him strange things began happening all over.

Terrified she ran, but was soon caught by the Agents and forced into BrickHurst Asylum. This was just the beginning of her life in the gutter, they managed to keep her in the old walls of the prison for two years before she had mastered enough of her ability to break free. She remembered every cruelty and horror that was visited upon her in BrickHurst. Everyone...even fellow Gifted betrayed her. Her powers were too random to be of much use in defending herself so she relied on sheer ferocity and razor wit to survive.

These harsh lessons have stayed with her all these years, but now she's Red Jenny. Untouchable and as intangible as a shadow. She swore on that day as she wrapped her own bloody wounds that she would never be captured again and she would make the whole world pay. And now at 25 she is the infamous legend she always wanted to be, she rarely kills mostly just ruining lives and exposing hidden Gifted to the Agents with one hand while selling out locations on Agents to the Order with the other. But when she does kill the macabre displays border on psychopathic art. Her only friend, a vixen the same color red as her hair being the only friend she fully trusts.

Gift: Sever: A unique and subtle skill, she can see auras and energies around her and with a flick of her wrist she can cut them and destroy the connection the host has to them, now the downside is she doesn't always know what she's cutting. Could be memories, could be vision, or could just be control of the host's bladder, she did kill someone doing it once though.

Gaius is 6 foot, and has a fairly muscular build. However, no one has ever seen him without his shirt on. This is because of scars that he received from the experiments that have been performed on him. His eyes are a dark blue, and he always wears his hair a little messy.

Personality: Gaius is a kind hearted young man that no matter how hard people tried to push he never used his power or hurt anyone. However, that all changed on the day his so called family turned him into the BrickHurst Asylum, and Agents came after him. Now he has a hard time trusting anyone other than Connor. He only shows any emotion to him, and to others he is cold. But he still wants to try an help his fellow gifted, by trying to get them out of the Asylum by becoming an agent.

>Strengths - Gaius is a master of Parkour, and he is nimble and agile because of his training. He is also able to fight with swords, and knives.

>Weaknesses - Gaius has a sensitivity to extreme hot and cold, and it can affect him physically. Making it almost impossible to fight anyone that can manipulate fire and ice.

Backstory: Gaius was abandoned as a child, and was found on the streets by a man and woman that felt sorry for him. Taking him home they raised him as their own. However, when he grew into his powers his parents told him to keep them a secret, and to never use them. He kept them a secret, but at night he went deep into the forest to practice with his powers. They were part of him, and he wasn’t going to deny that part of him. The only one that knew he was doing this was his older sister, and she didn't approve of it or him.

However, one night someone was there as he was practicing, and when he saw the young man he fze just staring at him as he didn’t know what he would do. So he just ran. It took him a couple of nights before he decided to go back. When he went back the youngman was their as if he was waiting for him. Gathering up the courage he walked up to him, and began to speak to him. Finding that they had more than one thing in common, and eventually they started dating.

When Gaius finally was able to move out of the house, he got his own place and asked Connor to live with him. However, he kept his relationship away from his family since his sister didn't like his kind. They lived happily for at least a year. Unfortunately the agents found out about him from his family, and they came to find him.

The Agents had a picture of him, and began looking for him. One day they caught up to him while he was on a run in a nearby park. Where they ambushed him. He put up a fight but in the end he was no match for the agents since they somehow knew about his powers and came prepared. It wasn't till later he found out his sister turned him in.

Once inside the walls of the Asylum he lost track of time has he was poked and prodded, and used as a guinea pig. However, after they thought they broke him they gave him an ultimatum. To become an Agent and bring in people like him, or remain as a test subject. They saw potential in his ability to help bringing more of the Gifted people. He agreed to become an Agent, and from that day forward they trained him how to capture his own kind. Though they didn’t completely trust him so they forced him to wear a special ceramic bracelet that was filled with a sedative, and a small explosive device.

If he did anything that when against his superiors the explosive could be remotely activated and the sedative could be absorbed by the skin, and it would put him out if it touched his skin. Losing all emotion he just does what he needs to do to stay this side of the scalpel.

Gift: Gaius has the ability to manipulate all forms of metal as long as he can physically touch it. By breaking down its molecular structure he can reshape it into anything he wants as long as it consists of the same amount of metal.

A very odd and random gift. So what is her faction Siks? Is she captured? Is she a member of The Order, Defiance, or just a rogue gifted who will be captured soon? It is strange that you would pick an ability that requires you and the player to communicate, but I feel it will be interesting to see in play, as long as it doesn't break the rule then I see no reason why she can't be accepted. <3 Welcome to The Hunted.

He's a quiet person when around a large crowd. But when he is around a small selection he is open and free to talk. His temper on the other hand can be set off with ease. He's short tempered and sensitive when it comes to his "Gift" While he thinks it's an amazing gift it's also a nightmare filled heartache. And one wrong word towards him can easily set him off. When he's calmed down after a rage fueled moment, he generally sits in a corner of his cell/room and contemplates things in his mind.

Spoiler: Bakari's Story 

Bakari's life was a simple one to start. His father was a Marine in the USMC where he traveled to different areas on Duty. Shortly after his deployment to Egypt he met Bakari's mother and fell in love with her with only a moments glance. The two became lovers and his father spent most of his three years with her. Upon returning to the states he had paid for Bakari's mother to join him and there where they became a family and soon had Bakari.

The begining of his life was normal as he didnt come across his abilities til a later age. All seemed normal in his life. He was an active kid with many friends made in a school life. Bakari loved to read and write and actively searched through his history of being Half Egyptian. Bakari even went as far as learning parts of the language spoken there from his mother.

Yet things would soon fail when he grew older. His father was always out on deployment leaving him and his mother to fend for themselves. But in his teen years his father gathered the taste of an alcoholic in which he eventually became a much more violent man in the end. Often striking Bakari for mundane things and his mother who just simply wasnt good enough.

Shortly after Bakari turned 15 he discovered his ability to manipulate sand. He could bring it to him, push it away, and even compact it together into a stone like hardness. Bakari was even able to disperse the sand into singular grains. He found his power to be a blessing from the Sand Diety of Egypt Set. But he was only so powerful as Ra would be the god to set things in motion. Although these were the words from his mother.

While his mother saw it as a blessing, his father saw it as a curse. Calling Bakari a thing and monster at times. When fueled with the disastrous matter of alcohol Bakari became priority on his fathers beating list. One night during his drunken rage, Bakari had enough on the matter of being beaten by his father and sent a spike of his sand straight through his fathers right shoulder. Injuring him severely. This matter had caused his father a month in the hospital and almost a year of straight therapy.

Bakari's actions not going un-noticed planted him a 'prisoner' in the grand BrickHurst Asylum. It was here he took a complete turn on his name. With discust for his father he took on the name of his mother. Dropping his Dalwin name and picking up the name Bennu. While some called it home, he called it a prison and that's just what it was. On the flyer given to him was a grand bold text saying "Home for the Gifted" but he knew better. Now it was two years into him being held captive as he called it. And he would spend his days trying to figure a way of escaping. But for now he would wait. Wishing to be the one who liberated his people from their hell that they call home.

During his stay at the Asylum his anger problems have landed him in a tough situation where he was placed under medium security. Watched during the day and left at night when he was at rest.

Gift:
Through the powers of his so called gods Ra and Set he can manipulate the element of earth through a sand like basis. While he is only able to control sand rather then anything else he has developed the ability to harden his sand as hard as stone thus creating sandstone. And he is able to break the sand down to a granular level. This gives the sand a feeling as soft as the beach so to speak. He can use a total of 200lbs worth of sand at once only if the sand is close by and dry as the desert. The wetter it gets the more he loses. Even a gallon of water can drop his weight by 50lbs. When the sand is fully drenched in water, his capabilities drop to a maximum of 30lbs. The hardness of the sand only depends on the amount of sand used and how dry it is. While his powers are only limited by his anger he can still perform as needed.

Can lift the full 200lbs
Depending on his anger he can pierce steel by hardening 60lbs of sand
When angry he can often lose sight of who's good/bad
When he's over the point of being angry his abilities have known to sky rocket and form a small 4ft tall sandstorm/twister

Personality:
Care free and very outgoing. He knows he's a gifted and hates other gifted. In John's eyes the world shouldn't hold the power that they do. Gifted are demons and wish to hold powers they could never even imagine to control. John feeds off the knowledge he receives often using his "gifted" powers to persuade others into believing he's "one of them" just before he pulls them away and locks them up for their ability.

Johns ability sprouted when he was at a very young age. In a group of friends who he had come close to there was other gifted who often found when John touched them their ability would suck their powers dry. While it didn't take notice at first John soon learned it was his ability. Taking advantage of it he began to use it when he felt it was needed causing a loss in many friends at the time.

The loss of friends always had gotten to him. As his gifted power put him in the grace of other gifted, yet it was a curse to them. With John's ability many of the gifted pushed him away in fear that he would use his power to just suck them dry. This continued on until one day he began to see what everyone had been saying about the "gifted". They were a problem. They were an issue that needed to be 'dealt with' John agreed. Soon to be casted out by his own kind, he waited until the time was right. Did his best to hone his skills in where he could take down more powerful foes. Yet he always has his limits.

Just turning the bright age of 17 in high school he left to join the ranks of 'Agents' or Hunters as he always called them. He would hunt and track down everyone he could find and put them where they belong. While shunned by many other hunters for being a gifted, he was also hated by his own kind for doing his job. John was per say alone in the world and he was fine with that. Some hunters respected him for what he did and even assisted him in capturing others.

Now years later, John has become an informant for some and often uses his ability to deceive others. He gets in there and gets out as quick as possible often referring his captures to the BrickHurst Asylum. Leaving them there to rot for the rest of their lives. When he isn't working he's studying up on the powers of others trying to either hone his abilities to get stronger or working on figuring out what he can do to make his job easier.

Not really a positive but more on the negative effect of things. His "Gift" falls into the lines of draining powers. His gift gives John the ability to suck the powers out of others. His ability limits depending on the strength of his foe. The stronger they are the less his power works. Yet John's ability feeds off the weak. If someone is weak willed or depressed then he gains a boost in his powers. After using his ability on an opponent he must wait exactly 4 hours before he can use it once again. And the person he uses it on will gain their powers back in a 2 hour time limit. Another effect of his powers gives him very minor use of their abilities. For a very short time of thirty minutes.

Thirty minute minor use of others abilities.
Four hour cooldown on using his ability again.
Two hour time limit on others re-gaining their ability.

Bakari is approved. John reduce the cooldown for others to re-gain their abilities to 1 hour and he's approved.

Nero is only 5 foot 7 inches, and has deep green eyes. He is never seen without a cell phone in his hands, and is always wearing a hoodie. Keeping as low of a profile as possible as to not get caught.

Personality: Nero is not a social bee, as most people are. He likes to keep to himself, and rarely speaks to anyone. Well anyone that is human. He does speak to machines as if they are human. He doesn't like confrontation so you will never see him in a fight. At least physically, he uses machines that he has made to fight for him. Very few people have earned his respect, and everyone else could fall off the face of the earth and he wouldn’t care. Though once you have earned his respect, then you are his friend.

> Strengths Nero is extremely intelligent, and technology savvy. He can make robots that are lifelike, and they each have their own personality. Making it where you can’t distinguish that they are mechanical, and not human.

> Weaknesses Being antisocial is his biggest weakness, that and not having any strength to fight physically.

Backstory: Nero was raised by his grandmother when his mother died during childbirth. As he grew his grandmother knew he was special, because when he was seven years of age he already knew more than most adults. This made him an outcast at school, and people bullied him. So he usually stayed away from people. His only true friends were computers. As he grew further into his powers he learned that he could spend time with his friends on the data scape, and there he could see even more and learn even more.

Then one day the unthinkable happened. The only person that was human in his life that he loved passed away. Leaving him with everything she owned, but unfortunately he was too young to inherit the estate, and it was put into a trust for when he got older. However, that was not meant to be. The person that was incharge of the trust found a way to take everything leaving Nero with nothing.

Living on the streets after that Nero was able to take care of himself by stealing money from the electronic teller machines. He also found him an abandoned building he could call home, and began making himself at home. Building a computer from scratch, as well as two android friends that kept him company.

He has been able to keep under the radar, and most everyone thinks he is a ghost on the data scape. He hasn't been found by the Agents, but he has seen what they are doing to his fellow gifted, and wants to stop them, and make all of humanity pay for their sins.

Faction: The Order

Gift: Technomancy is Nero’s gift. It is the ability to use technology to its fullest. Just by touching a machine he is able to talk to it, and he uses this to be able to to many things. Like get money from a bank, crack security systems, and infiltrate all the files in the database. However, there is a downside to this. He can only be in the net for about thirty minutes at a time. The strain on his body is too great for him to stay in any longer than that. He goes into a comatose state when using his powers, and his body is completely defenseless. Because of this he has two robotick bodyguards that can watch over him when he is in the net, or any number of tasks he might assign them.

The setting of an asylum has got me thinking about playing a character that has been driven mad by her powers. I am thinking of giving her the ability to see into other people's past. She will lack control of when she does it and sometimes just being around others will trigger it. More so of she touches them. When she sees into the past she will see the event from the eyes of the owner. Because of this she won't have a firm grasp of what is real and isn't. Prolly doesn't help that when the government discovered her powers they used her to prove violent crimes by making her relive them from the
victim and the perpetrator's eyes. She will be a captured.

Does that sound like a character that will work?

Rise: Ay, it actually came to me when making the Mary character in my Servant's Chronicles story. Only while Mary's is far more focused and she can actually see where the lines go and what they do Jenny is too unfocused and random. I plan to have her rely on her mundane skills more than her Gift when interacting with players, but NPCs will feel my wrath. As for her faction she's a rogue gifted who screws with all three groups someone can try and capture or recruit her.

Also I have a second char I'll toss in.

Dude would it be mean if I said I wanted to make an electric based character that can "Drain" the energy from electronics just so he can be a dick?


Example: Just by touching electrical objects he can suck the electricity out of these objects and unify them as his own electrical current giving him the ability to create sparks of electricity.

While his ability focuses on draining electricity he can also utilize any energy he's stored up to push it into electronics. Meaning if he has electricity and energy stored up from other electronics he can power another one.


Does this even make sense? ^^^^
