I'd hardly consider it sad, but I've got two versions of The Parting Glass that I like.

There's only two songs that have ever made me cry, honestly. This song that I've posted is one of them. A woman I know (a friend of my family) lost her eighteen month old son, Hudson, about two years ago. This song played at his funeral and honestly every time I hear it I get really sad. It reminds me of Hudson, obviously. But I think it also reminds me of the extreme depths of grief that his mother experienced at that time, but is still experiencing. :(
The second song is very sad, but also very very disturbing. (So I won't post it here.)

Hearing someone express that level of pain from abuse is very hard to listen to and I tear up whenever I hear him crying at the end. I find it hard to listen to the song, fully through. Never wanted to hug a musician more in my life :(
