You can choose to open a door, but you cannot describe what's behind it.

You can choose to smash a wooden wall with a hammer, but you cannot say if it breaks or not.

Both of these things are things that can only be described and explained by me, the GM. I will respond as fast as possible to the action your character has just executed, telling you what has happened.

Furthermore, when you find something in the game and decide to take it with you, I will tell you - in my next post - what you have picked up, to confirm you have actually taken it with you.

This is a mysterious horror game, where your character finds him/herself at an unknown location for unknown motives and an unknown reason. The more you learn about said place, the more you will want to escape. But you can't. Not for now.

I, as the GM, will not have a character myself. Instead I will be taking on the role of the literal 'Game Master' of this world. I will throw in events, give descriptions of the environment, and occasionally introduce a side character known as an NPC.

Appearance: Caucasian with straight, black hair and hazel eyes. A tiny bit of scruff along his chin. Medium build with enough muscle to hold his own in a fight. That said, he's no pro-wrestler. He also has the most god-damned beautiful smile you've ever seen.

Personality: Generally cheery, though can sometimes lose emotion. On the outside he's your 'pretty boy' archetype. On the inside he's majorly insecure. With his tendency to put others before himself, mixed with his strong appearance of self confidence, people tend to forget that he actually has emotional needs too.
Likes: string music, horror games, the fuck word, and camping.
Fears: insects, deep water, tight spaces with no apparent exit
Sexuality: Pansexual
Disease(s): Depression and anxiety

2. Minkasha - Skylar Mark

Transtioned since the age of 13, the rush of testosterone has changed Skylar into more the image of his father in his youth. Beyond the widening of his jaw, expansion of his shoulders, and leanness of his body it is not too difficult to superimpose female features upon his face and see what he once was.

Skylar keeps himself in sturdy shape, but is still young, standing at 5’9”. Brown hair left to messily lay as it wants and piercing green eyes share to the world his adolescent angst and the conflict of his spirit. Under his clothes, there are two dark scars under his nipples which harken directly to when he had his breast tissue removed. Upon close inspection of his body it is noticed that his hips are almost as wide as his shoulders, making him unorthodoxly shapely.

Personality: Restless, Skylar has grown up learning that life simply continues day to day – there is no big break. Though all the personal achievements he has made, he still feels things that are off. Moments of dysphoria can strike at random, shaking his confidence and emasculating him. During these bouts Skylar becomes quieter, yet his restlessness doesn’t shake. Being still too long unnerves him, the mind or body need to be used.

The young man’s first reaction to fear is violence, something he taught himself and believes is necessary to be ‘male’. It has become second nature now, and Skylar doesn’t dwell on regret too much. But in the same vein, physical assertiveness was also trained in him making sure he would do ‘the right thing’ when someone was in need of help.

Attraction and kissing are enjoyable, but the prospect of intimacy scares him. Though he’ll never admit it.

Likes: Girls with long hair, the stereotypes of men and women, the breeze of winter air, the sound of his changed voice, his reflection, distractions.

Fears: His vagina, vulnerability, sex, detransitioning, men seeing his chest scars, failing male expectations, male body odor (of stranger men), the sense of being lost, his reflection, distractions.

Sexuality: Heteroflexible (interest in men peaks during around the time of his cycle)

3. BumblingBee - Honey Clove Moore

Yes, that is her actual name.

Age: 26

Gender: Female, obviously.

Appearance:

Honey's on the tall side, but not noticeably so. She stands at around 5'8"altogether, and is has a enviously stick thin figure. The girl's as pale as a ghost too, might as well have porcelain for skin honesty. Other than that her features are pretty gentle, rather doe-like in their appearance. But don't let her calm looks fool you...

Personality: Honey's effectively a stoner, but without all that annoying hassle that comes with the drugs part. Cool as a cucumber and rather overly prone to open discussion of life the universe and everything at a whim. All in all though, she's a smart cookie, at least within the more philosophical terms of reason.

Likes: Old gutairs, Jam, Dandelions, ironically unfunny things, and all of the Cadmium colours.

Fears: general existential dread, frogs, others opinions on her physical appearance and (somewhat stereotypically) the dark.

Sexuality: Bi baby.

Disease(s): Honey once had somewhat serious anorexia, but has apparently overcome the problem.

4. Dnafein - Zachary St. Claire

Zach’s height is recorded to be an even six feet, though he is closer to five eleven due to his slouching stance. He is in what would be called surprising shape, given how little he leaves his apartment. He has a pair of wireframe prescription glasses he wears when his prescription contacts run out.
Personality: Zach is a competitive recluse. He rarely leaves his apartment, but makes his money and socializes through streaming.
Likes: Winning; games; computers; privacy
Fears: Agoraphobia
Sexuality: Asexual (Has little interest.)
