I was thinking they were more as a NPC sorta thing. Whether the character's join them or not, could be completely up to them.

You can't wrestle with your demons without becoming stronger in the process.
The trick is to not grow horns yourself.
I feel like if you put that in, then they may feel like they have to join them to survive? Just my idea on it.

We will state that they dont have to join them. having some npcs groups/faction is something I thought adding some more as well.
