“Deep in the far reaches of the milky way, there exists a small blue planet called Zi. On this planet live a race of metallic lifeforms with superior fighting skills. These are the Zoids.”
Spoiler: Setting and HistoryShortly after the incident with Zoid Eve, some organoids became able to fuse with humans. This formed a powerful biotic species that was also able to empower zoids in the way that organoids could (AKA flying into the sky in a ball of energy and flying into the zoid core), allowing the human-organoid biotic, which was called a genezoid (pronounced jen-a-zoid), to work in unison with the zoid. When the genezoid wished to leave the zoid, it simply exited in a blast of energy, similar to how it entered the zoid. A genezoid could not control a zoid, for zoids are a biotic species of their own with their own minds. Rather, the genezoid would work alongside the zoid, using two minds to control the body instead of one. This required a special bond between the genezoid and the zoid, which could only be made through trust. Otherwise, either the zoid will be renderred immobile until the two minds can chose a joined decision, or one mind will dominate over the other.
When genezoids would work together with their zoids, it would require supreme skill and single-mindedness with the zoid in order to make split-second decisions that both minds would agree upon in an instant. That required the minds to think alike, which could also only be built up through trust and time. The genezoid and the zoid could learn things about each other, enabling special combat techniques and new abilities to become available to the pair. This process of gaining the trust of a zoid, although requiring extreme patience and willingness to become one with the zoid, yielded a better result and increased efficiency for the pair.
A war happened due to a conflict between the genezoids and the humans. The genezoids argued that zoids were organisms that should be treated with respect and given free will to pick their partners and share a consciousness with them when they choose. Some extremist groups also believed that the genezoids were superior to the human race. The humans believed that the genezoids were trying to control the human race and believed that zoids were meant to be pets, steeds, or war machines. Both sides ended up blowing each other to smithereens. They were driven back into their capitol cities, and these two cities are the only places that civilized society and significant military presence exist. The human city was called Neo Haven, the genezoid city Zyphron, and each one was on opposite sides of Zi. The result was a lawless society where bandit clans and crime lords were born. The motto of "every man for himself" was unofficially established. Wild zoids roamed the land, along with human pilots and genezoids.
This is the society where you will pick up. I will introduce a main plot through some means after everyone is situated.
Here is the CS:
Spoiler: Character SheetName:
Race: human or genezoid
Age:
Gender:
Appearance: Picture and/or description
Zoid: Picture or description. You can chose one from a show or model, or you can make one up! You can only have one (unless it dies, then you can get a new one).
Zoid weapons and abilities: The more heavy weapons you have, the slower your zoid. If it is a fast or stealthy zoid, don't put big weapons on it.
Personality: if you met your character, what would he/she be like?
Morals/Beliefs: here is where you chose what kind of things your character believes in right from the start. they will probably change throughout the story, but they don't have to if you don't want to.
Bio: make it as long as you want, just make sure that you include how you met or found your zoid. it should also explain how you gained the morals and beliefs that your character has.
Here are the advantages and disadvantages for genezoids and humans:
Spoiler: Genezoid Advantages and DisadvantagesThere are advantages and disadvantages to being a genezoid, and the same applies to being a human pilot. While genezoids share a consciousness with the zoid, enabling mental discussion inside and out of the zoid, and have the possibility of gaining a more reliable zoid with enhanced powers (depending upon whether you build your trust with it or not), they suffer from electromagnetism, and actions in zoid battles can be delayed if trust isn't build properly. Building trust takes time, and it is very difficult. If the zoid only partially trusts you, then it will be reluctant to follow your orders. It is a long and fragile process that either results in a powerful zoid with unbreakable trust in its genezoid, or complete failure, resulting in the zoid either running from you or trying to kill you. Genezoids can also repair minor injuries to their zoids by empowering the zoid core, enhancing the natural healing processes that zoids have. Major injuries take much more time and effort from both the zoid and the genezoid. Lastly, if the evolution process takes place on a zoid, the genezoid must also be present in the energy cocoon. This forces the genezoid to also evolve with the zoid. Evolution takes many many days.
Spoiler: Human Advantages and DisadvantagesHuman pilots have complete control over the zoid unless it suffers serious damage, which results in a command system freeze (your zoid will stop moving as all power is pulled back to the zoid core to protect it). They do not suffer from electromagnetism, and the zoid will never falter in combat. Pilots also usually have better non-zoid combat skills than genezoids. They are able to make repairs and enhancements to their zoids through engineering, replacing and repairing parts and then allowing the zoid's healing process to take over. Pilots, however, do not know the zoid as well as the genezoid, who knows the zoid inside and out. A pilot's zoid cannot make a major evolution without the help of an organoid.
Lastly, here are the rules:
Spoiler: Rules1) No godmodding, especially when it comes to combat and fighting. Remember your limits. You can't take on 4 zoids of equal power and expect to get out of it alive and healthy.
2) YOUR ZOID CAN DIE. Do not forget this rule. A zoid can be destroyed if the zoid core is destroyed or heavily damaged. If the head of the zoid (or cockpit, whatever) is removed from the rest of the body, the zoid will not die instantly, but it will be stuck in a command system freeze. It will not be able to move, and it will die if the zoid is not repaired by using a Gustav (or other transport) to bring the zoid to a mechanic. Even if you are a genezoid, you can't help a zoid be healed.
3) You CANNOT die, unless you want to. If you want to die, either post in the OOC or PM me, and we will work something out. If you want to die and start a new character, the same applies and I will still gladly accept your new character.
4) If you wish to have multiple characters, make sure you can handle them. The limit, however, is 3 per person. Only 1 is suggested. You can introduce NPCs as well, just make sure that you post a short character sheet. Anyone can create NPCs!
5) For genezoids: you can only push your zoid as far as your character can go. Every hit of damage that you take, your character also feels. If your zoid has a command system freeze, you will be ejected from your zoid, and you will be incredibly weak.
6) For humans: your zoid has similar limits. It can only be pushed so far. Also, you cannot start with an organoid. It would be incredibly difficult to find, so don't expect to find one at the beginning. PM me if want to find an organoid, and we will work something out.
7) Please don't reference any characters from previous Zoids shows. If you want to make a reference to something from a show, PM me first and I will either approve it or ask you to make changes.
8) If you wish to battle someone, please make it a co-post. PM your nemesis and then send PMs back and forth, adding to the post as you please, and then posting the finished battle in the IC. This will make battle go quicker and smoother instead of each person posting a move on the IC thread and then waiting for the other person to post. If you two (or three or four or however many are involved in this) have any problems, PM me.
9) Please allow for other people to post. If two people post back and forth all the time while there is a third character in the conversation, it will get very confusing.
10) Let your imaginations run wild, but remember to keep it PG 13! Don't go into detail with graphic or explicit content.
11) Have plenty of fun!!!! I will always be accepting new characters, so don't be afraid to post yours at any time!!

He wears black pants with large pockets, a muscle shirt, pver that a white button up and to top it off a black leather jacket. Around his neck is a leather collar and on his feet a pair of black boots. His right ear as three piercings and on his hands are black fingerless gloves. This is his basic day-to-day gear.
Zoid: Red Horn
(there's two pics showing different angles so make sure you click both)
Weapons: Crasher Horn, Smash-Up Tail, 80 mm Surface-to-Air Double Barreled Beam Cannon, Anti-Zoid 3-Barreled Linear Cannon, SSM-Pod, TEZ 20 mm Linear Laser Gun (2), AEZ 20 mm Beam Gun (2), High Pressure concentrated Sulfuric Acid Powder Cannon.
Equipment: All-Weather 3D Radar Antenna (4), Composite Sensor Unit, Infra-Red Laser Searcher.
Personality: Michael is usually a nice guy. Friendly, optomistic, bit of a flirt with the ladies. But that's not when he's in the midst of combat. In battle he's cold, ruthless, determined to finish his assignment. But nothing motivates him more than protecting his teammates. While completeing a job and getting paid is nice, it's not worth the pain of loosing friends.
Morals/Beliefs: Michael wasn't caught up in the entire zoids have souls/they're just machines argument. He did recognize Zoids could have a mind of their own, after all those Human-Organoid had that ball of energy fuzing thing so there had to be some truth to it. But he believed that until a zoid showed some form a self-awareness it was just a machine.
Bio: Michael started his zoid piloting when he was very young, at the age of ten. The village where he was living was being attacked by Human-Organoids. In a desperate attempt to save his village he hopped in a Command Wolf and tried to help. Unfortunately he didn't last long, he was in over his head. The zoid was a wreck. But he was given a spot of luck, a Human Alliance Patrol had arrived and driven the attackers off. Of course when he was pulled from the wreckage he as yelled at for doing something reckless, but he didn't care. Michael accepted his punishment. But it was this moment that changed him, he had gotten a taste of combat. He got the rush of the fight, the high, and despite the fact that he lost he was addicted.
So he stowed away with the Alliance soldiers and they took him in. The unit's commanding officer, Colonel Storm, took a liking to him, seeing the firery determination in his eyes. Taking the boy to the capital he found a way to get him into some training programs and soon he was learning the ropes, and not just Zoid combat, hand to hand and weapons. By the time he was fifteen he was set. Decked out in an Alliance uniform and given a standard zoid, Saber Fang. He was assigned to Storm's unit where he was welcomed back with open arms.
Thus began his brief two year service. Michael was put on numerous mission and took part in many battles. On one mission he infiltrated a base with his unit. there he engaged in hand to hand combat with a decorated soldier, one that had been causing the Alliance problems for awhile. But outside his Zoid Michael had the advantage. It had come down to hand to hand and Michael ended u[ winning. The enemy had a strange pendant around his neck, Michael took it as a trophy and it now hangs from his belt. This victory over the enemy pilot earned his a medal, a promotion to Sergeant and a cash reward, there was a bounty put on the pilot. This was a foreshadowing as to what was to become of Michael.
Michael started targeting enemies with high bounties and taking them out. The higher ups didn't like that and issued him many warnings. Michael was also taking trophies and they were proudly displayed in his room, to this day. Though Storm wasn't complaining. The Colonel wanted the dangerous targets gone and encouraged Michael to continue hunting. And so he did. Finally, after two years, he was discharged with the rank of Lieutenant, though not dishonorably. Michael didn't want that on his record, wanting to leave on somewhat good terms. What surprised him was Storm retired not long, six months, after he was discharged and sought him out. Michael, eighteen now, happily greeted Storm. Storm admitted that he enjoyed what he was doing, sending Michael out to complete bounties. But the military wouldn't allow him to indulge in that. So Michael, with the war ending, decided that they'd join a mercenary group.
But first they needed their own Zoids. The military obvioiusly wouldn't let them take their zoids. So they planned a heist, from a local bandit gang. Risky yes and it did end with them upping their killcount but they did complete their objectives. Michael picked a Red Horn from a group of recently pilotless zoids. Storm picked a Metal Rhimos. Finding a group of Mercenaries wasn't hard, they joined a group called The Paladins. The group was made up of both Humans and Human-Organoids. And for the next two years they completed missions. Storm, due to his amazing leadership skills, quickly rose to command, leading the Paladins. Michael became third in command, not having enough experience leading but wanted the higher rank he was happy leaving second in command to the previous occupant. This was his life, and he loved it.
Spoiler: Vega FalkenName: Vega Falken
Gender: Male
Race: Genezoid
Age: 47
Appearance
Zoid: Snipe Master
Personality: Vega isn't one to fly off the handle like his companions sometimes do. He's stone faced and remains calm under pressure where others might snap and screw up. That's thanks to his sniper training. Vega likes to tease his friends, mostly Michael, finding the ex-soldier's reactions humorous.
Bio: Vega remained neutral during the war, refusing to join the Genezoid army. He was needed in his village, he was the protector. All day he'd spend up on a hillside overlooking his home, through the sight of a gun. With all the chaos of the war and the Wild Zoids he didn't know what each day would bring. All Vega knew was that he'd do whatever it takes to protect his home, his wife and two children. After the war things outside major cities grew worse. Vega needed money to help support his family. He ended up joining the Paladins where his skills as a sniper proved invaluable. He was able to move his family to Neo haven and away from the dangers of living in the Wasteland. It would be here where he would eventually meet an awe inspiring young man with seemingly unrivaled talent. At first Vega was annoyed, he didn't respect someone so young. But he was quick to change that opinion as the lad's legend grew. He had heard of the infamous Black Knight. Passing soldiers in his hometown during the war would talk about a all black Zaber Fang that would hunt down the best pilots and take them out, about the battles he had participated in, more so the battle at Metropolis than anything else. But after working with the Knight the two became good friends. Vega was happy to see the human didn't have any ill will toward his people, though he was, slightly, disturbed when he learned the only reason the KNight joined the army was to fight. But he learned the lad wasn't as mindless a killer as he'd originally thought. He got the fact the boy loved fighting, not killing. And soon he to learned to appreciate a good battle. They've been together a year and a half, the best year and a half of his life.
Spoiler: Curtis MillerName: Curtis Miller
Gender: Male
Race: Genezoid
Age: 13
Appearance
Zoid: Bear Fighter
Personality: Curtis is just like any young teenager. He's impatient, bratty, annoying. Well maybe not like any teenager. He's unwavernig in the face of death, loves big guns and explosives. Curtis is easy to rile up, but he's a kid they're all easy to provoke. He idolizes his two older squadmates and aspires to be like them. Michael's skill, resourcefullness and overall badassness. Vega's calm tenacity, unwavering ability and dedication. The young kid knows he has a lot to learn but he is motivated.
Bio: Growing up during the tail end of the war Curtis doesn't understand pretty much any of it, the reasoning behind it and all that. The fact that their even was a war seemed silly to him. The bloodshed ended when he was eleven and for another year he lived in peace with his parents and older brother. Though after that year tragedy struck. bandits attacked his home and in the ensuing battle Curtis' father died. It was thanks to Michael and Vega that the rest of the town hadn't been destroyed. The two were tasked with tracking down this particular group of bandits and eradicating them. They had wanted to finish them off before they struck again. In a similar fashion as to how Michael got started Curtis ended up hopping in his father's Bear Fighter and chasing after the two Paladins. At first they turned him away, saying it was to dangerous. But Curtis, annoyingly, wore them down. They took the kid in and told Colonel Storm that he was to stay with them, so they could make sure he didn't get himself killed. Though the other two would admit, if you asked them, that it was a good idea to include the kid. His zoid's versatility was very handy. Curtis learned a lot working with the two, how to fire a weapon, multiple weapons, knife combat, hand-to-hand. He was learning all this along with Vega, minus the gun part. Michael wanted each of them to know how to defend themselves, inside and outside a zoid. Outside more specifically, as even Curtis knew that Genezoids were practicaly useless outside a zoid. After a few missions with his new friends Curtis was also able to relocate his family. While they might not approve of his line of work, his mother was very upset/angry when he ran away, they were grateful to Vega and Michael for always looking out for the young teen.
TheDoctor:
Spoiler: Cadmus "Cad" LakonenName: Cadmus “Cad” Lakonen
Race: Genezoid
Age: 17
Gender: Male
Appearance: Cadmus is about 5’8”, weighs 130 pounds with a lean body type (slightly muscular, but still skinny). He has light brown, slightly long hair that spikes out like in the picture. He usually wears a crimson t shirt with slim black pants, black shoes, and a white button-down jacket that goes down to his waist and fits him nicely. His eyes can easily shift from fierce to friendly.
Zoid: Murasame liger named Rigon (I had to go liger )
Zoid weapons and abilities: Murasame sword, dual sword cannon, triple-barreled shock cannon, strike laser claw, and tail blade
Personality: Cadmus is very likeable. He is very friendly, yet very strong willed. He can be stubborn, for he is a fighter. He isn't afraid to voice his opinion and take action about what is right or wrong.
Morals/Beliefs: Cadmus believes that zoids are always meant to be seen as companions, not tools of war or pets. He also thinks that genezoids, humans, and zoids are all equal. He has some slight prejudice against humans because he thinks they caused the war, but that is only because he grew up learning to be wary around them. He isn't afraid to be friends with them, but he still thinks they are to blame for the war. However, due exposure to them, his slight prejudice has been worn down, and although he has his views about the previous war, he doesn't let them affect his judgement of others. If someone is being persecuted, attacked, or abused, Cadmus feels like it is his responsibility to help them in any way possible.
Bio: Cad was born to a nice genezoid household in a rural town. His father was a retired mercenary who served as a protector for their town while his mother was a school teacher. He was an only child. School was a necessity in their town, and Cad had gone to the one-room schoolhouse for as long as he could remember with his mom as the teacher. This was where Cad learned to see humans as the cause of the war. His dream, however, was to become a zoid pilot
When Cad became old enough, he became apprenticed under a zoid engineer, which is where he learned his knowledge about zoids. He would always love to bond with zoids that were recently healed or improved in the shop, fusing with the zoid and sharing knowledge with it. After many years, Cad learned the many ways to interact with a zoid, like how to treat it with respect and how to know when the zoid impresses their will upon yours. He learned the different movements of the zoid and how a fused genezoid’s thoughts may influence the movements.
On his 15th birthday, Cad’s town was attacked by bandits. His mother was killed in the raid, and his father and his zoid simply vanished. He was torn between feeling sympathy for his father if he was captured and anger at him if he ran away. He ran from his town as far as he could, running out of fear, loneliness, grief, heartache, and most of all, vengeance. Vengeance for his family, his family that had just crumbled in his hands. It was his birthday as well. What kind of birthday present was that?
Collapsing from exhaustion in the middle of the desert that surrounded part of his village, he lost consciousness. When he awoke, he heard a roar and a crash from nearby. In front of him was a wild Murasame Liger with a large gash between its eyes that curved down to the right side of its mouth, sparking with energy. There was another wound on the zoid’s side, a deep cut that curved from the left flank to the underbelly of the zoid. Several other wounds were apparent on the liger, but they were not as major as the wounds on its face and left side. Obviously feisty and angered, the Murasame Liger was crouched low and growling at Cad. He noted the massive blade on the liger’s back, which was revolving to its left side to guard the injury. Trying to show the beast that he would cause no harm, Cad relaxed his body and put his hands up for the zoid to see. The liger flinched as Cad raised his hands, and then it pounced on him, trapping him under the its paw. The zoid roared at Cad, pressing his paw a bit harder on him. Attempting to calm the beast, Cad touched its mind.
I don’t want to hurt you, I want to help you! I would-
YOU ARE A GENEZOID. GENEZOIDS HURT. GENEZOIDS DAMAGE. GENEZOIDS KILL.
Is that who did that to you? A group of genezoids?
YES. GENEZOIDS ABUSED ME EVER SINCE ME CREATION. THEY TORTURED ME, TRIED TO KILL ME. YOU ARE A GENEZOID. YOU WANT TO HURT ME.
No, no! My name is Cadmus Lakonen, I want to help you! I would never want to abuse a zoid, never! Let me heal your wounds, I swear I can help. I know a great deal about zoids!
CADMUS LAKONEN, YOU ARE A GENEZOID. YOU LIE. GENEZOIDS LIE.
No, I’m not lying to you! Please, let me go and I can help you! I can nourish you back to health! Please trust me, not all genezoids are like the ones you encountered. We want to work with zoids, be their companions. Let me please try to heal you. If I cause you any more pain, then you can kill me right on the spot. Just trust me in this.
……….NO MORE PAIN. I GIVE YOU MY TRUST. CADMUS LAKONEN, DO NOT LIE.
I won’t.
With that, he fused with the zoid. He examined the damage from his place in the zoid core. The gash on the liger’s side was deep, but not deep enough to damage the core. That could be healed. Cad used some of his energy to close the wound (the equivalent of a scab for humans). He withdrew the zoid’s subconscious attention from the wound, causing it to no longer hurt the zoid. Focusing on the zoid’s head, he did the same. By that time, he was too exhausted to treat the minor wounds. Withdrawing from the zoid, Cad emerged as a ball of energy and then landed on the ground in front of the liger, forming into his body once again and kneeling from exhaustion.
CADMUS LAKONEN. YOU HAVE….helped me. Thank you for healing me.
See what I mean? Not all genezoids want to hurt you.
I understand. Cadmus Lakonen, you are a kind genezoid. Where do you belong?
I need to get back to my town. I can’t continue my journey like this.
Very well. Fuse with me again, and I shall accompany you back to your town.
Once again fusing with the liger, Cad relaxed as the liger read his thoughts, recognized the location of his town, and began to journey back. When he got back to the town, Cad left the zoid. He touched the zoid’s thoughts again.
Thank you for taking me back. You are a kind zoid as well.
Your town is unsafe, Cadmus Lakonen, and I am still wounded. I will gladly protect your town if you continue to heal my wounds.
I would love that! Only, I don’t have your name.
I have no such thing.
You have to have a name! Fine I will call you Rigon. It’s what my dad always called his zoid.
I am Rigon, then.
Rigon and Cad grew closer and closer over the years. Rigon protected the town from further bandit raids, and even after Cad had healed Rigon, the zoid stayed with him.
Cad eventually let go his grudge against the bandits and became a mercenary like his father (after finding another person to defend the town). Althought he still grieved for his family, Rigon was there for him. At age 17, he and Rigon were able to work together very well. They are currently working to drive out a bandit group near a sizable tribe in the plains.
Spoiler: Aelia AuburnName: Aelia Auburn
Race: Genezoid
Age: 19
Gender: Female
Appearance:Spoiler: Aelia Auburn
Her blue hair goes almost to her elbows. She usually wears the same clothing that is in this picture, which usually does turn some heads. Her eyes are an almost glowing purple that really stand out.
Zoid: Zaber Fang named Varien
Zoid weapons and abilities: Killer Sabre (2), Strike Claws (4) Small-Bore Anti-Zoid Laser Machinegun, Anti-Zoid Three-Barrelled Shock Cannon, Anti-Zoid 30 mm Double-Barrelled Beam Cannon, Composite Sensor Unit, Infra-Red Laser Searcher.
Personality: Aelia is a naive lass. However, that does not mean that she is a "dumb blonde." She is very smart, but sometimes she doesn't understand social situations. She is friendly and outgoing, but she is also very timid at most times. She loves zoids very much, and she treats them as if they were small peaceful animals. When she pilots her zoid, however, it is as if the spark of her personality erupted into a wild flame.
Morals/Beliefs: Aelia believes that zoids are companions, for she is a genezoid herself. She values each and every zoid's life, so she will do her very best to never kill a zoid. She doesn't have any opinions about the human and genezoid war, but she wished it had never happen because so many lives were lost, and so many zoids were killed.
Bio: Aelia was not always Aelia Auburn. The blue-haired baby was found on a young couple's doorstep with an armband for a grown woman that had "Aelia" etched into it in elegant writing. After a lengthy discussion, the couple decided to bring Aelia into their household because firstly, they were very kind-hearted, and secondly, the woman was infertile and they had wanted a child. The couple was called the Auburns, so they took her into the family. Therefore, she became Aelia Auburn.
She was a very energetic girl, and her parents smiled every time that they saw her because they felt that she was a blessing upon them. They treated her very well, raising her as a girl should be raised. She did chores around the house, and when she was finished then she was free to do as she pleased.
What she loved the most was being around the zoids. The energy that radiated from them made her happy, and even though her parents wished that she wouldn't stay so near the zoids, she did it anyway.
As she grew older, she grew closer and closer to the zoids, physically, mentally, and spiritually. At the age of 13, she accidentally fused with one zoid that she was particularly fond of, a Command Wolf that was named Azuroth. This is how she and her parents discovered that she was actually a genezoid. Her parents, who were human, felt that it was only natural of her to be so fond of zoids due to the fact that she was a genezoid, so they allowed her to pilot with them.
She became incredibly close to Azuroth, and as time wore on, she learned about zoids more and more. She never learned the mechanical and technical things about them, but she did learn how to heal them and how zoids think, among other things. Azuroth was an old yet joyful Command Wolf, and their personalities collided beautifully: A young, innocent girl that wanted to learn about the world and an old, educated zoid who gladly taught her everything he knew.
When she was 16, after returning from an adventure with Azuroth, Aelia was ambushed by bandits who wanted her zoid, her money, and her body. She had learned much from Azuroth about zoid combat, however, and she fought brilliantly. They were too much, however, and eventually the bandits knocked the Command Wolf into a system freeze. She tumbled out of the cockpit as the Wolf fell on its side, and the Heldigunners that the bandits were piloting began to tear into the fallen zoid. Aelia screamed at the top of her lungs as they ravaged it, and limitless tears flowed down her face while the zoids sent metal scraps all over the place. As they finished, they then cornered Aelia. The bandits hopped out, grabbed her, and were preparing to violate her in many ways when a black-and-gold blur tackled one of the vacant Heldigunners to the ground, tearing the zoid to pieces.
The bandits turned away from the tear-stained girl to see a Zaber Fang ravaging the rest of the Heldigunners. They shouted in fear, and one of the bandits put a knife to Aelia's neck, threatening to kill her if the pilot continued. The zoid stopped, the cockpit opened, and a hooded figure stepped out. He began to walk towards the group, and as one of the bandits shot at him, he easily dodged and broke the shooter's wrist. He took out each bandit one-by-one, and the bandit with the knife to Aelia's neck was paralyzed with fear. As the hooded man walked towards him, he pressed the knife to her neck, and she cried out as a single drop of blood from her fell on the blade.
The hooded figure nodded, grumbled something, and dropped something on the ground. Before Aelia or the bandit could process what it was, it exploded with smoke, and in the heat of the moment, Aelia was able to break loose of the bandit and escape from the smoke as she saw the hooded man run into it. There were several grunts of pain, and as the smoke cleared, she saw that the last bandit had fallen to the ground, dead. The hooded man stood in front of him...with the hilt of the knife sticking out of his chest.
Aelia ran to him, but before she could reach him, the Zaber Fang stepped in front of her, growling as it lowered its head and opened its cockpit...to her. Looking around the head, she saw that the body of the hooded man had turned to ash and was blowing away in the breeze. Confused and hurt, she ran to the body of Azuroth. The zoid was dead, and there was nothing that she could do about it. Crying, she climbed into the Zaber Fang's cockpit.
The zoid took her back to where she lived as if it already knew. When she got there, her tears had dried up. She stayed locked in her room for three days before she finally confronted her "parents." She spoke with them and told them that she had to leave. She had to figure out where she came from and discover her mysterious past, for nothing that had happened three days ago made any sense. They reluctantly accepted, but before she left, they gave her the golden band that had her name, Aelia, etched into it. Slipping it onto her upper arm, it felt welcome. She left that day, and she finally fused with the Zaber Fang, which had stayed next to her home while she locked herself in her room. She needed answers, but the zoid only told her this.
Aelia, my previous pilot called me Varien, and that is what I go by. I am incredibly sorry for your loss, but I do not have answers for you. My master told me what I had to do, so I am doing it. I am honored to serve you.
Varien was very respectful to her, and the two of them grew closer as the years wore on. Now, at age 19, she and Varien are as close as she was with Azuroth, and they continue to search for answers to Aelia's past.

Elle has flaming red hair and unusual gold eyes. The area around her left eye is burned slightly because of an accident in the past, and she tries to keep it hidden by her hair or a hood. She stands at 5'4" and weighs 110 lbs. She always wears the slightly too large burgundy colored jacket that stops in the front at her waist but tails out to her knees in the back, which is a sort of trademark of hers. Opposed to skirts, she normally wears black pants over faded boots.
Zoid: Shadow Fox
Spoiler: Shadow Fox
Weapons: 30mm Beam Vulcan cannon, Electron Bite Fangs, Strike Laser Claws, 70mm Electromagnetic Net Gun
Equipment: Smoke Dischargers, Optical Camouflage, 3D Radar, 2 Shoulder Weapon Racks
Personality: Elle is quiet, but this is more a result of her inability to connect with people rather than a sense of shyness or modesty. One would not be too far off in calling her naive, as when she does interact with other pilots, she ends up killing any chance of conversation with her odd observations. When piloting, she is very focused and her withdrawn personality makes her skilled at guiding the stealth-favored Shadow Fox successfully. She is a little bitter towards humans, but she can look past her prejudice for the most part if she's the one making the first move in introductions.
Morals/Beliefs: Elle has a belief that while humans can also pilot Zoids, genezoids are the superior pilots. She thinks that Zoids should be treated with respect, just as any other weapon should be regarded, and that only genezoids are able to tap into their true potentials. The bond between and pilot and their Zoid should be mutually respectful, and those who sit in the cockpit and expect to become fast friends with their Zoid should know that they're running a self-destructive path. Friendship is the ideal state, but no mere human will ever reach that goal, and a true pilot shouldn't worry about establishing such frivolities; it will come when respect is fully established.
Bio: Elle was raised human, by humans. While she was always aware of her status as a genezoid, her adoptive parents wouldn't allow her to express it, or experiment with piloting Zoids. While her family tried barring her from any contact with Zoids, Elle knew that the local junkyard owner was working on restoring a Command Wolf to give to his son when he came of age for a gift. She aided him in repairing the Command Wolf, and she was finally given the chance to pilot it in a test-run when she turned twelve. Sitting in the cockpit, she found that she could connect very deeply with the Zoid, and she took it out to the area just outside of town, near some of the more isolated markets. While heading out, she caught sight of her adoptive family and they of her, so she knew when the junkyard dealer called her back, she would be in a world of trouble.
In fact, after that day, the junkyard never called for her services again and her parents kept a much closer watch on her. They wanted a human daughter so badly that they were willing to lock Elle up just to have one. She watched bitterly as the dealer's son, Shino, rode around in her Command Wolf. She was aware that he wasn't fully connected and not getting the complete thrill of the experience. From her hours looking out the window at Shino, Elle began to develop her ideas about human and genezoid pilots.
It wasn't long until she begged the junkyard owner, Hatori, to take her on as an apprentice. Hatori took her on, allowing her to do paperwork and minor repairs around the shop. At the age of fourteen, she officially began working for him when he found a Shadow Fox he wanted to repair for her as a sign of his gratitude. The hours were tough, but watching as the magnificent machine was restored to its former glory made her feel it was all worth it. She sat by the Zoid, reaching out to its still-bleary mind, hoping to make a connection with it. Elle even, on occasion, fell asleep while working inside the Shadow Fox's cockpit, much to Hatori's amusement.
Soon enough, after Elle turned sixteen, the Shadow Fox was complete, polished and upgraded, and had been placed in her care. She departed with her new Zoid, leaving her family home, and heading to the largest city up North to get a job. While riding through the rocky terrain to get there, she conversed with her Zoid (which she affectionately referred to as Sirex, a name they had both come to agree on), getting to know him better and hoping that a stronger connection would allow them to battle better later on. They managed to win the few fights they got themselves into along the way, since they were mostly against disorganized groups of bandits, or drunk pilots who fancied themselves to be "Plain Gangs". Upon reaching the city, Elle headed to the nearest scrapyard and got a job at the adjoining repairs shop.
As she and Sirex made deliveries from city to city, people began recognizing her burgundy coat and her stature, calling her "Red Riding Hood". Annoyed at first by the nickname that she assumed was placed upon her to mock her, she decided to capitalize on it, and set herself up as a mercenary and delivery girl for hire under that name. At first, her pride lead her to turn down jobs that she considered "too human", and beneath her skill set, but she knew that in order to support herself and Sirex, she'd need to eliminate some bandits and deliver some parcels to sons and brothers in tiny villages. Humans in the city are still a bit wary of Elle, as she occasionally cannot hide her grudge against them, but her self-imposed servitude is helping her overcome it.
Elle believes that she has a better relationship with Sirex than any human has with their Zoid, but she knows there is still a long way to go between the two of them. She doesn't know if Sirex respects her as much as she does him, as he will sometimes freeze in battle if he thinks she has made the wrong call, and she still dreams of achieving a friendship with him.

Spoiler: Cyrus SigmaName: Cyrus Sigma
Race: Human
Age: 31
Gender: Male
Appearance: Black combat boots, khaki denim pants that are baggy enough to cover the boots to the ankle. Black shirt, a medallion on his neck of a gear, and a clip where it can open up to reveal a picture. Black a-shirt with a red opened button up shirt, carries sunglasses around, as well as a regular pair for when It’s night or he’s indoors. His hair is brown, and short an spiked. A single cut of a goatee on his chin with emerald green eyes. Has a military air to him, but looks laid back. Probably a mercenary.
Zoid: Lightening Saix
– Has retro jets for sprints and acts for agility mounted in rear panels, reinforced shock coils in all four legs, reinforced suspension in hind legs for greater agility, upgraded hull for lighter metal, but same durability, 2 advanced heated conductor strike claw system (front paws), under slung RPG launcher (no tracking system), Back mounted double Vulcan Auto Cannons with Wing support for balance at high speeds. Advanced Tracking system
In effect, this version of the heavily modified Lightening Saix is capable of performing quick feats of agility. While still one of the faster Zoid models, this model sacrificed sound breaking speed for some of the highest agility, capable of performing tighter turns, jumping while prone, and a hull light enough to perform with added stress from battles. The Variant has been used primarily in the wars for assassin missions or strike and fade missions, where more precise striking is required. The added Agility grants it the ability to easily jump as high as the shoulders of an Iron Kong while prone, and can leap over it at max speed.
The biggest weakness of the variant is heavily armed foes such as a cannon tortoise or Rhino models chassis. The heavier fire power usually is dealt with by the high speeds at which the model would run, but the sacrifice to speed means a pilot must be extremely patient and careful with his attack runs as the Vulcan cannon is not the best for dealing with such heavily armored foes.
Personality: He’s a sarcastic, been there, done that attitude men. Your classic knight in sour armor. Has ideals, and has morals, but has been too jaded by the reality of wars and life to let those notions get in the way of living another day. It doesn’t take too much though for him to be a nicer man around you. He’s not a hard ass, just a bit rough at first.
Morals/Beliefs: You never kill a man without giving them your name. You do what is necessary to survive, but no more. Take from the rich, do favors for the poor. And never forget clean underwear. Respect your Zoid and others, and don’t ever under estimate your foe.
Bio: Cyrus was a man with ambition, and ambition was what got him where he was. At a young age he learned how to pilot a Zoid thanks to his mother’s cannon tortoise, modified for heavy construction mind you, and learned the intricate controls of the mechas. In years he eventually enrolled in the town guard and was granted a raptor class Zoid.
It took him only a few days to get used to the controls, and before long he was moving as the lead scout when trouble arrived. Using pack tactics, Cyrus learned the greatness of Zoid battaling, and came up a strong contender. Not wanting to stop there, he rose to a vice captain and was given a stronger Zoid to pilot of the Raptor series.
Alone on a routine patrol, he had encountered a lone Mercenary who piloted a Lightneing Saix. The story could go on for details of how valiantly Cyrus fought, but to be honest, the Mercenary was toying with him, and trashed the Zoid into a Command Freeze. If not for his mother noticing the explosions while working, she wouldn’t have arrived to scare off the Lightening Saix by sneaking up behind it.
Humbled, the boy went home, licked his wounds, and thought hard on the battle. The speed of the Saix was incredible, and nothing this town had could match it. Instead, he looked to the raptor class he had and formulated a new idea. It took months of small alterations from the mechanic, but the Raptor had greater mobility. Confidant, Cyrus stepped out into the desert to find his prey.
It took two weeks, but he found the Saix. Grant it, it was the other way around, but Cyrus would never admit it. The two danced in combat, the Saix’s speed easily overwhelming, but the raptor was far more nimble, making sharper turns than the speed demon could. The battle turned to attrition, a contest of wills to see who would slip first. In a matter of twenty minutes both warrior’s ran out of ammunition. The Saix pulled off, and called Cyrus the winner. In the desert, no ammo might as well have meant no water. The pilot just wanted to prove Cyrus they were better.
A little miffed that it was a stalemate, Cyrus thought it over and chased the Saix to a clearing where it was resting. He found the pilot sitting by a fire with a content smile, and the boy (at the time 16) felt his cheeks turn red. Here she was, a green haired beauty with red eyes waving to him and a body that he thought only pin ups could have. He offered her to join him back to village to resupply for cost.
Days would pass, the two would spar again, and neither one had the other’s number until eventually they called it in the Saix’s favor for the first initial victory. Cyrus would eventually date, fall in love, and marry this mercenary named Steena. Cyrus was on top of the world and Steena supported him as he did her in becoming the head of the town guard.
Seeing an ambitious opportunity to end the raids on their already limited town supply, Cyrus made to ambush the raiders and their wolf units. It was the perfect plan, and the town showed up in force. At first it was easy pickings, but then something bad happened. One of the town guards had tipped the enemy for money and supplies, and they hired a mercenary sniper into their ranks to pick off the pesky lightly armored raptor units. In moments of the opening salvo the town guard was decimated, and all that was left was the dodgy Cyrus and his wife Steena, who was too fast. They retreated to a canyon where Cyrus raged at the loss of his friends and companions. Steena comforted him that night before they made way to head back to their home.
In the morning the mercenary had camped outside their mountain, and when Steena woke up she was covered in a hood, easily confused for Cyrus for it was his jacket that kept her naked body warm in the night. She had died without a word, her body hitting the ground. Then, the Raptor Cyrus piloted was shot in the command pod, and the thing was utterly useless, locked in a command freeze. Cyrus had no choice but to jump into the Lightening Saix. He ran away from his wife’s body, his town, and his home crying and screaming as shot after shot hounded him until he used his booster to get away.
Years would pass, the lightening Saix his wife owned now all the property he had left. The town he lived in was trashed in retaliation by the raiders and his mother was gunned down. He took the Zoid to another well established town, and sold off parts of the Saix to pay for repairs. He lost the Jet booster and two of the claw strike systems, but he cared not. He went back into the desert and found the Gun Sniper used to kill his past. Needless to say, it was over quickly. With the Gun Sniper sold he modified the Saix to his vision, and became a mercenary doing assassination missions against bandit war lords or other gigs that came his way. He was a good pilot, but the ambition that once drove Cyrus died that day his wife and friends did.
Cyrus is no longer concerned with ambition. Now, he makes life easy by living easy, and keeping the Zoid he pilots in top condition as if it were his wife. To him, it is…
Spoiler: Gwen "Ginger" CastellaName: Gwen "Ginger" Castella
Age: 26
Race: Human
Creed/Motto: Ginger lives a peaceful life, and outwardly is a very pleasant person, but only Cyrus Sigma has ever seen her when she lets her emotions catch up to her. She is loyal to those she employs, and does whatever it takes to get the mission done. Her heart currently belongs only to Cyrus Sigma. As she puts it, the lug is to dumb to return the feelings. There is a darker side to Ginger she rarely lets out, and usually comes from heavy drinking or memories of her father that plague her dreams.
Appearance: Brown Haired woman with Hazel eyes like an autumn day. She boasts a modest rack and an hour glass body. Her hair runs to her shoulders, usually tied up unless she's near some fun or in her Lanstag. Usually can be found in a black jump suit that zips from the crotch up to the neck, but when not in it, or driving her Gustav, she's wearing a pair of capri's and a bikini top with a short sleeved waist cut shirt when in need of being modest.
Zoid: Lanstag - A power house of elegance, the Lanstag is a force to be reckoned with. Boasting an impressive array of weapons as well as quick speed and terrain mobility, the Lanstag has been commonly found in the heavily forested areas of Zi.
It's main weakness is it's turning radius being rather weakened by the strain it takes during trots. While it can hit top speed in a relatively quick manner of time considering its size, it is not the fastest by far, only beating out the heavier models such as the Red Horns or Iron Kongs; both not known for speed. It also has a blind spot on the lance shoulder, making them susceptible to flanking strikes.
However, in close quarters, the Lanstag is anything but helpless. On the charge it can impale Zoids upon it's Energy Lance, ripping through the metal and impacting the core, thrusting out the other side. Also, it can lock horns with other Zoids using the strike energy Antlers, making them capable of parrying and shrugging off favored Strike Laser Claw systems. It also boasts a Smart Guard energy Shield for medium grade attacks.
The weapons load out on the Lanstag is: Thruster Lance, Breaker Horn [Lantag-Buck Variant] (2), Rear mounted Anti-Tank Mines (6), Smart Guard Energy Shield, Shock plasma cannon mounted under chest and on shoulders. Most of the damage this Zoid dishes out is in the form of the crushing impact charge.
Equipment: Enhanced servo-shock leg enhancements. Dedicated power supply to Shields/Horns/Lance. Long Range Motion Scanners, Sonar terrain geo-graphing (Can 'ping' an area and discover layout of three mile radius). Traction Hooves Terrain Pedals (Climbing)
Ginger owns a Gustav trailer Zoid, but it's not equipped for Combat and never to be used for such.
History: For Ginger, life was sitting in her Gustav, Lanstag, or out in a field and wondering when the next day would come. She grew up with a mercenary father who
told her he adopted her after her village was ransacked and he was passing through. She grew up inside a Zoid, and found companionship within the seat of her Father's Gun Sniper.
She began work as a mercenary when she was fourteen for a few of the surrounding provinces of Neo Haven, working to make connections and eventually at sixteen her father offered her a chance to prove her mettle as a pilot and a leader. She took to the challenge while her father found a gig for a large chunk of pay that would wipe his debt. All he had to do was wipe out a few troublesome guards from a town that had given bandits a rough time.
Ginger completed her mission with great ease, and returned to her father to meet up where he took the money he earned on his mission and paid for the down payment on his daughter's first Zoid; a Lanstag. She fell in love with the beast immeadietly, and took it on several missions, harping for the biggest prizes on the missions and challenging anyone that moved. Her enthusiasm was immeasurable and she found herself content with the way life was.
When she turned twenty her world was shattered when she found out that her father was murdered when he was on a mission. She didn't even know he was dead until she saw the Gun Sniper in a shop being scrapped for parts, sold earlier in the day before she returned home. She had purchased her father's Sonar Radar as a memory of him.
She had two roads she could take...hunt the one who killed her father. Or Leave his memory to rest and live a life of her own...
Ginger spent a few years thinking she wanted revenge, until she met a man named Cyrus in a bar. She had found a busted Gustav in the desert and found steady work doing Convoy's for the local towns. Cyrus had offered his services for a fee, and she found herself falling hard for the mysterious man and his Lightening Saix. Soon her desire turned to lust, and she hired him, offering him insanely high rates of pay just to keep him near her. In a world where she felt alone, she found a soul mate in Cyrus Sigma.
To the current moment, she is following him, trying to find a way to employee him into her heart, even if she needs to use force to do it. But down to it, Ginger is a sweet girl who tends to enjoy the brighter side of life.
Though god rest the soul that killed her father, for when she finds him she'll personally run him down with her Lanstag and hang his corpse over her father's grave....

Spoiler: Micah GoldbergName: Micah Goldberg
Age: 28
Race:Human
Zoid: Knows how to pilot a zoid but doesn't have one of his own, oftening renting out a zoids in mercenary attachments he joins. Mostly stays back, and helps direct his soldiers.
Description:A dark Haired man with grey eyes. Dresses in Civilian clothing or grunt soldiers clothing in order to look inconspicuous.
Morals/Beliefs: A Very pragmatic character who has an absolute hatred of war and will do his best to minimize causalities. Is not above taking hostages or resorting to blackmail to win against his enemies.
Background: Micah came from a prestigious family of soldiers known as the Goldbergs. For ten generations they've served in the military with each generation proving their military prowess in one way or another. Every Goldberg that came before him was a soldier on the battlefield of some kind. Everyone until Micah was born. As a child he was incredibly weak and meek, often the but of jokes with his older brothers. After he hit puberty and beyond, he did grow some what stronger but compared to his other family member he was by no means a power house soldier. While other focused on combat training Micah's full attention was centered on a quest for knowledge and learning about the world around him. He was average or below average in all things even in being a Zoid pilot. It was this very reason that the Goldberg head had Micah sent to a far off station up north where he wouldn't be the embarrassment of the family.
Micah was all but glad though to be away from his family of complete Jackasses. More so since the North head little to no military activity. Things changed though when an invasion force came in and began launching a sneak attack on the base. All the commanding officers, were killed in the sneak attack, and a full invasion was about to make its way. Micah seeking to survive and at the same time despising the loss of his closest friends at the base, took command of a force of fifty zoids against a force of a thousand. Through clever use of strategy combining terrain and guerilla warfare tactics he not only managed to repel the force but gave the enemy the false impression that the northern base was well defended, forcing the invading country to abandon their pursuit of a war. To add more to that all of the soldiers of his command survived the battles. It was from this moment that Micah earned the title of Master of Miracles. From then on he traveled from place to place utilizing his ability to help out soldiers need, and getting them through battles unscathed.

Personality: Generally a nice person. Rarely the type to have moments where she would come off as a Captain Hardass. I tend to avoid putting personality descriptions because it has a tendencies of cornering me.
Morals/Beliefs: Against being a terrible person.
Bio:
Lt. Snow joined up early on in the New Haven military. Her aim was quite... Mediocre. It's wasn't as if she wasn't capable; she did quite well relatively speaking, more or less easily qualifying for the sniper squad. That was when she acquired her Gun Sniper Zoid. It was one of those produced for the sniper squads.
She is no longer in the military, now opting for freelancer work. Why? There was no particular reason other than she didn't feel like doing it anymore. It was similar to how she came to join the military. Why did she? No real reason other than she wanted to. Joining seemed entertaining in the moment. It could be supposed that she may have not enjoyed killing so many, seeing as how she doesn't have to go out and commit genocide on a daily basis.
She got out. It wasn't till about a month later that Snow realized she sucked at pretty much everything. So, between Freelancing and washing dishes.... Guess which one won out. About a week in she was alerted that it was illegal to have New Haven military decals on your zoid.
Her initial response bordered along the lines of "why should I care?" Once threatened with prison time she turned around yelling out "New paint job it is!" And seeing how black was the second cheapest color there, it beat out Raspberry Fusia.
She went on this way for a while. Her business was meh. Just like her military career. She wasn't the worst, but she most certaintly was not the anywhere near the best. So, her income was, comfortable.
That was until about a year ago, while searching through....research, it happened. How? Neither of the two know. Was there any particular reason? No. It just happened. Somehow EGO somehow went to her Zoid.
The couple days Snow noticed random lights on at various times but thought nothing of it. It wasn't till her next mission she went on that the truth was learned. She climbed in the cockpit. "Huh, I don't remember pre-setting this..."
"HI THERE! HOW ARE YOU DOING?!" The voice echoed in the small space. "What the hell! Quiet down! WHo the hell are you!?" The voice rang in, "I'm EGO. I'm an AI... At first I thought I was human, but then I realized humans have legs, and skin, and feet, and hearts, and other minor organs. But yes, I'm here now. You wanna play minesweeper? I downloaded it from your laptop."
Snow spoke up at this. "How did you get my laptop?!!?!?"
"Wifi.... duh....."
this was their first introduction to each other. Snow found out a reason to keep EGO almost immediately. Despite her non-physical nature, Ego turned out to be excellent at combat, and a decent DJ. This was due to her measurements and processing power, measuring down to the then thousandth.
People were generally shocked by the unprecedented growth Snow sustained. How, for someone who had just past the prime time of their piloting days, suddenly become on of the highest paid freelance in her village. There weren't a lot? No, skill? That's what everyone thought.
Eventually there was enough money saved up for Snow to get another Zoid, a Leostriker. Ego's reaction time and foresight made the close combat, at most, child's play. With the purchase of her second Zoid, came the creation of their company, Spectral Inc. They are currently hiring.

Race: Human
Age: 24

Zoid: Iron King MK II
https://zoids.wikia.com/wiki/Iron_Kong
https://s1060.photobucket.com/albums/...t=IronKing.gif
Iron King is not quite what it use to be. Placidus has modified it since his acquisition of the zoid. While it looks the same, it's weapon loadout and internal parts have been altered and fine-tuned. So, more on the alterations in the next section.
Zoid weapons and abilities:
Anti-Zoid Six-Shot Missile Launcher
Iron Hammer Knuckles (2)
TVM Two-Shot Tactical SSM Launcher
Electro-Wires
EMP Gun
CP-11 Maneuver Thrusters
Ray Absorbing Core
Composite Sensor Unit
The Iron King's core has since been Modified to imitate it's cousin-zoid, the Gorilla Tron.
The original bulky Ten-shot Missile Bomb has been sold and refitted with an EMP Gun. The shots go out in the same way as the other missiles. They are proximity weapons that activate when near their target.
The wires are housed within the chest pieces of Iron King, they are designed to shoot out at close targets and send out different electronic waves that shut down the zoid and/or disable systems.
The normal missile systems have not regularly been on Iron King. Unless requested, he tends to not bring them because he prefers non-lethal weaponry.
Personality/Morals/Beliefs: He tends to have a soft heart. While he doesn't truly have a strong opinion on the "Zoid Soul" debate, he does believe that every life is sacred. He does not; however, think that it is unacceptable to kill. He just prefers not to.
Bio: (super short version.) He is a loner. This isn't quite in the sense of a black clothes wearing, eye-liner loner, but instead, it is the type of person who just doesn't get out much.
That isn't to say he doesn't have friends, because it isn't true. He has lots of friends....Online....
When he was born, there were medical complications that led to his doctor performing an immediate post-birth operation. The surgery went very well, and he hasn't had any serious ramifications from the cause of his need for surgery. There was scarring though. Due his state, being a newborn, actually led to vocal chord damage.
This damage has not made him a mute, but very close to it. When he talks it is generally very low, and he constantly sounds as if he is sick and has lost his voice.
This led to his life not including a lot of group activities outside. So, aside from online communication, he was alone. He spent time doing alone things. These all eventually led him to his future career, engineering.
His skills lead him to be a smarty pants in all things industrial, be it fixing things, programming things, or rushing your workers in RTS games. He is a notorious gamer, and is known most by his screen name, Haxxor.
The Iron King was an accidental acquisition. He won it in a high stakes tournament. He didn't know that someone had put in a Zoid. It was one of his greatest wins and would remain so. Upon getting Iron King, he immediately began adapting to fit his more peaceful nature, going so far as to redesign the interior set up and control system. It became a tool to acquire quick cash for his local pizza place.
He currently lives in a city outside of Neo Haven. It does have a lot of problems, but recently it had been exceptionally peaceful. Yet, even with this he has been unable to get his friend to come visit him. While she seems extremely interested, something unknown has kept her away. While it saddens him, he really wants to meet her face to face, because as of now, he only knows her by her screen name, Ego.

Personality-Sarcastic. Major ass. But it works because his Zoid is like that as well. He tends to be somewhat respectful to women.
Morals-He flat out refuses to kill a human unless absolutely necessary. If it comes to it, he will without guilt. The same with his Zoid.(They're very alike)
Bio-He remembers nothing of his past. 15 years ago, he woke up in a room with two men and a woman who was changing a bandage on his head. He can't remember anything before that. He met his zoid while he was traveling the desert. He was in desperate need of water and food, and the Zoid carried him to a village. After that, Dairn healed it of some minor injuries, and they saw they were very alike. They trusted each other from the beginning. They've been through many things, small and large. His morals were given to him by the people who found him. Even though they didn't have much, they still helped him. However, they refused to kill anything until the animal was to sick to go on.

Spoiler: Tristan ElimarName: Tristan Elimar
Race: Human
Age: 23
Gender: Male
Appearance: Tristan is of average height, with a slender but slightly 'cut' build. He has short black hair that reaches to about his jawline that tends to fall into his face from time to time. Piercing ice-blue eyes and firm yet soft-toned voice make for a recognizable appearence around anyone who has seen him before.
Zoid: Drache is the name of Tristan's Zoid, the name being derived from the German word for 'dragon'. Just as the name implies, Drache resembles a dragon and is capable of flight as well as a moderate ground traveling speed. It favors mobility and versatility over offense, so it's strength is somewhat lacking. It's appearence is like that of the traditional four-legged dragons that are popular among the fiction/fantasy communities in writing and video games. The armor plating of Drache is a glossed black color with the underlying layers being a deep sapphire blue color. The 'eyes' of the Zoid are also blue as well. The tip of it's tail, as well as its claws and teeth, are a brilliant white color. The tip of the tail is also a blade-shaped M-gun that can be used for aerial attacks(explained in the next section). Two large wings capable of folding tightly when grounded are attached to Drache's back, with the 'fingers' of the wings being sapphire blue and the 'membranes' being white like the claws.
Zoid weapons and abilities:
~Tail Blade--A decently lengthed blade that makes up the tip of Drache's tail. It is not only used for physical close combat, but also can be used as a Light Machine Gun to strike far away opponents.
~Updraft Booster--During flight, Drache is capable of increasing it's flight speed with a system that uses both updrafts and solar energy to create additional thrust.
~Dargon's Roar--A super-sonic blast that causes a major disturbance in any type of tracking device within range of thhe concussive blast. It can disorient Zoids, and if they are close enough, knock them back quite a distance.
~Dragon Claws--Quite simply, the most basic form of combat. Drache has four clawed feet that can inflict moderate damage to a Zoid, especially if its armor has been previously damaged or removed.
~Dragon's Fire--A mid-ranged attack system that functions in two ways. The first being an explosive ordnance attack involving a type of large RPG fired from it's mouth. This relies more on AOE(area of effect) rather than accuracy. The second function is exactly as the name implies. A jet of fire spews from Drache's maw in a large cone that can engulf another Zoid in mere minutes.
Personality: Tristan is not exactly the most social person out there. He tends to keep quite, only speaking when he feels he needs to and staying to himself rather than dealing with groups of people. Contrary to this, he is a caring and protective person with a high sense of justice, right, and wrong. If somebody was in danger, he would go out of his way to help them despite what might happen to himself in the process.
Morals/Beliefs: Tristan is a gallant chivalrist, even if he is a bit too quiet for the part. He cannot stand to see others being taken advantage of and would stick hiis neck out for a complete stranger if it meant that he could save a life from mistreatment or death.
Bio: Tristan has lived as a freelance fighter for the past five years. A mercenary, to put it bluntly. He started this work after finding Drache in stasis within an abandoned development facility. Drache was in bad shape and it took Tristan wquite a few months to get Drache in working order. Since then, Tristan and Drache have been partners. Tristan has even piloting Zoids since he was 15. He learned how through a guild-like organization that trained people to be mercenaries and make them self-sufficient. During his training he has piloted almost every type of Zoid from Flight, to Ground, and even some that travel beneath the surface of the water.
Being a mercenary, it is not uncommon for Tristan and Drache to travel from place to place in search of work. Tristan is able to support himself and Drache, so he doesn't have any regrets to speak of. Since Tristan has piloted Drache and repaired it countless times, nobody knows the Zoid as well as Tristan. Though that doesn't really matter since he refuses to let anybody else attempt to repair his partner.

Spoiler: Nell LenheartName: Nell Lenheart
Race: Human
Age: 19
Gender: Female
Appearance:Spoiler: Nell
Zoid: KatFysh named Necros https://fc06.deviantart.net/fs42/f/20...otalslayer.jpg
Zoid weapons and abilities: The tail is a all blade, light mechanical guns, light armor, energy blades that will come out on back of heels, nails will extend. It is a smaller Zoid so it was built to be extremely fast, kind of stealthy and not very strong.
Infa-Red and Tracking systems. Booster's.
Personality: When people first meet Nell, they would say she is aloof, quiet and mysterious. That is because when she first meets people she is trying to figure out is she can trust them or not. As you gain her trust she becomes much friendlier. She loves to banter with people, but that is how you know she is comfortable around you. She is also strong-willed, a survivor and protective. She will kill when necessary but dislikes to otherwise. A lot of times she'll just do things without saying anything.
Morals/Beliefs: She is a firm believer in the fact that Zoids should be neither pet nor weapons, but companions. She also refuses to hurt or kill kids.*
Bio: Nell lived in a small town with her mother and father. Her mother, Zena, was a local mechanic and her father, Joseph, worked at a warehouse. Ever since a young age Nell's mother let her help out around the shop doing small errands; like greeting people and handing her mother tools. At that time her father, and ex-military officer, also started to teach her hand-to-hand combat and fighting with weapons. He also taught her to shoot.
As she grew older her mother realized that Nell had a talent for mechanics. At the age of fifteen she was past her mother's skill level and working for her. At the same time her father noticed a talent for fighting and shooting, even though she didn't like it very much. One day as a gift, Nell's father game her a pair of small daggers to hide on her person.
That night Nell went to sleep, until she heard screams echoing from outside her window and bright lights danced on her wall. Slowly she walked over to the window, much to her horror, the town was on fire. Running downstairs she swiftly woke-up her parents and they ran. Only they didn't get very far. Her mother was shot, instantly killed. Her father went down with a fight. She was caught and knocked out, but she broke a couple arms in the process.
When she awoke she found herself tied up, along with a couple other kids from the town. She was wondering what the bandit’s had planed for them and it wasn't too long before she found out. The Black Market. She knew that she had to get the other kids and her out of there. That night she maneuvered so she was able to grab one of the hidden dagger's and cut herself free. The guard that was suppose to be watching them was drunk and had fallen asleep. Right before she left she noticed that one of the bandits had stolen her dad cloak, so she took it back. Putting it on, the group of kids made their way into the desert. For days they walked, only stopping when absolutely necessary. Some even died on the way. Finally they made it to a small town.
She found that doing odd jobs for people let her get a little money. When she was on her way to the store she someone shouting something. To her right was a mechanic shop and inside was a man who was struggling with something. Slowly she walked over and saw what he was working on. Automatically she found what was wrong. Briskly she walked over, grabbed the wrench, took off her cloak and got to work. In a matter or minutes it was fixed. Her offered her a job because of that; which she accepted gleefully.
While looking for spare parts on day, she noticed a large, strange, object in the back. Upon closer inspection she found it to be a non-working Zoid. She made it her resolve to get it to work. She found out that it was an older model (that was based off of cat and fish bones) and that they didn't make them anymore. For a year she gathered, bartered and found parts it needed. Much to the mechanics amusement, she would often fall asleep working on it.
That night she finally finished it, but for some reason it didn't move. She ended up falling asleep over the design sheet. That morning, she woke up with a fully functioning Zoid in her face. Ever since then that have been together, training and learning from each other. They left the town three years later. As of right now they have a job as a messenger and sometimes even a mechanic. She calls her friend, Necros.

Spoiler: KorzaiName: Korzai
Race: human
Age: 20
Gender: female
Appearance: https://fc08.deviantart.net/images2/i...Mech_Pilot.jpg
Zoid: Elephander Modified to have longer legs and tusks long enough to strike at infantry, but a slightly shorter trunk. Is painted grey and tan to have a slightly more organic look
Zoid weapons and abilities: Tusks, two 20 shot rocket pods (One mounted on either side of the head), one Gatling laser gun mounted on the back, twin linked point defence lasers mounted on the sides, one rail gun (That's what the 'trunk' is for). Despite it's size Korzai's Elephander is designed to be quicker then most models are, and is better suited for dealing with personnel and light-medium vehicles rather then other large Zoids, more of a strike weapon the a siege weapon.
Personality: Korzai makes every effort to be as pragmatic as she can within reason, whether this means fighting dirty when things are going poorly, or hiding food away for emergencies. She tries to keep herself professional in her relationships, she learned the hard way that when doing mercenary work anyone can die, and so tries to keep some distance between herself and her co-workers.
Morals/Beliefs: Though she thinks of it as a tool, Korzai is well aware that her Zoid is a living organism, while she's unsure exactly how aware this life is or how it feels about her, she strives to always treat it with respect. She has few moral problems with killing people in general, but she tries to avoid it if possible, she sees an unnecessary fight as a waste of resources.
Bio: Korzai grew up deep in the wastelands in a nomadic tribe of humans, they didn't care a wit about Zoids or anything beyond their own survival, if they came across a Zoid it was usually in pieces which they used to maintain their own machinery. As a reletivly small group of people they were always getting attacked and bothered by larger groups, often they could talk or bargin their way out of trouble but occationally they were forced to fight. As such Korzai had to learn how to fight and kill, but even then they always tried to solve things without wasting their energy on fighting.
At the age of 15 or so Korzai was placed into an arranged marriage, unlike most arranged marriages, she and the boy they paired her with got along splendedly, and Korzai was perfectly willing to go through with it. The problem was that the boy loved someone else, but if he ran away with her they'd bring no end of trouble to the tribe. So to help him save face Korzai ran away pretending to be running away from the marriage so he could marry the one he wanted. While she missed him and her family, Korzai wasn't particularly heartbroken over it, in fact her life improved after she left, shortly after running away, she found her Elaphandar wondering alone as well. For reasons known only to it, the Zoid accepted her as its pilot, and after getting it properly cleaned up Korzai went to live the life of a bounty hunter, hunting down bandits and anyone with a big enough bounty on their head.
See you on the battlefield!
