Last night went pretty well. You can find all the trailers for the new games on the Nintendo Youtube page. The price is 2.99, so the leakers were wrong. Most of the leaks weren't true. There isn't a Pokemon Stars announced, there isn't a Mario+Rabbits RPG, and Zelda is a launch title.

Time to get a better job (or a job at all, considering last week's events) and start saving. Fire Emblem Warriors calls to me.

I'm excited, but I might somehow wait until after E3 before I invest in this because it's either a new laptop which would help me get PC games like more Sims... or.. the Nintendo Switch. It depends which is looking like a better year; Sims or Nintendo?

depends on which Sims you're talking about. '4 is starting to come alone nicely, although '3 is still far better.

The only thing that would make me get a Switch at launch would be if they announced a Smash Bros that wasn't just a port. Otherwise, I've got until fall 2017 where I can then grab Fire Emblem Warriors.
