I don't think I'll get it until a decent Pokemon or Skylander title is on it. But, with the way it appears, it looks as if it replaces the Wii U and 3DS so I might not have another choice if I want to continue to play video games.

It is basically replacing both with a single system, since it is both console and handheld at the same time. Also, they have already announced that they are already developing Pokemon games for it. It is probably a safe bet that it is going to be the console of the main Pokemon games from now on.

I think it's a cool idea, but the design puts me off. Especially the controller. Aside that, the only reason I would even own a Nintendo product in this day and age is because of LoZ: Breath of the Wild.

it looks pretty dope so far. I will probably hold off getting one until they announce a new Smash or a new Gen VII/VIII Pokemon game for it or something though.

Really? Cool! I wonder if Sun and Moon will be on it or just the new games that are unannounced? A new Pokemon game should at least be announced by the time this system comes out...

Yeah, but you can use a regular controller as well. And, not as much into Zelda. But, I like Mario, Sonic, Pokemon, Skylanders, and there are a few others games I'd like to try.

Anyone have any idea why my budget is whimpering and giving me funny looks? Should I be concerned?

I don't work, right now, so I cannot afford this. But, my mom borrowed my graduation/birthday money (which was enough to buy the switch all together) and is returning it to me at Incomtax time which is when the Switch comes out (In march!). I said, at the time, that she didn't have to pay me back, but now I'm glad we did this agreement because I wouldn't have saved up the money this long to get it.
