Just like the title says. Got a burning question for guys or girls? Here's a place to ask it!

Please no gender bashing or anything like that

    Thanks Lúthien

Girls, do you really subconsciously train us to do your bidding?

Yes. Not ashamed to say it either. Heck, I even own a book on it.

The strategy is simple, and it's not a bad one for either of us. If we do things to make a man happy, he will do anything for his woman.

Crying helps too. That's playing dirty though.

At least you're honest. Oh well, may as well sit back and enjoy the brainwashing.

    It is beneficial to everyone.

My question: How can guys be so quick to forgive? They hate someone one second, fight it out, then are bff's with the person.

We chicks hold grudges. Scary grudges.

Granted, it's probably better in life to hash things out and get them over with, but how do you do it without all kinds of hard feelings after?

Well, I'll trust someone once, but forgive them a thousand times. It's too much of a hassle to hold a grudge on someone for doing something. I would rather forgive that person and let them feel comfortable around me rather than hate them forever and miss out on knowing a genuinely good person.

How do we do it? Completely let go. Let it all go. In a few years it wouldn't matter anyways. Most people respect you more for that kind of control. After I've forgiven people for some really terrible things, they've never liked me more as a person.

That brings me to another question:

How are you able to hold that much malice while keeping your true, inner sadistic self hidden under soft skin and milky white complexion? Like, shouldn't your eyes be yellow and you have fangs?

Sugar and spice and everything nice!

That malice and inner sadist you referred to is the "spice" part.

Its natural for girls. Men are strong, women are satan when angry. Its our attack mechanism, the venom inside the fangs. Thats just how we are.

Guys are goal-oriented problem solvers. If there's a problem, we look for a way to solve it, and if there's a dispute, we settle it. If there's a fight, someone wins, and the matter is settled. We usually come to blows over something practical and so once we decide who wins, it's over. Holding a grudge doesn't do anything useful, and takes a lot more work than just going on with our lives. Women tend to be far more emotional, and disputes arise around that sort of intangible thing that you can't really 'just fix' so you hold grudges because whatever the bad blood is can't be easily rectified.

Why does a girl crying affect most men so dramatically?
