GL I can honestly say I quit cold turkey only because my best friend was pregnant and I was around her constantly. So the baby was my motivation for quitting, I mean my god child is pretty freakin' cute and deserves the healthiest environment ever. (Yeah I am a sucker for her)

If there's one thing I'm 110% confident about, it's that having a kid would be motivation enough for me to quit. I believe in teaching by example (fuck I don't have to believe in it, it just happens to be how humans learn, but yeah I believe in it anyway lolz) and I know for a fact that telling my kid "don't smoke" then putting a cigarette to my lips would do nothing but make that kid a smoker. So if I fuck up somehow here, if/when I have a kiddo, these cigarettes are gone. Period.

I'm very glad that you were able to stop smoking when you did, and I'm sure the mom and baby appreciate it just as much ♥ Fuckin' proud of you!

As of today I have officially gone a week without cigarettes! (well, technically 6 days, but I'm counting the 4th since on the 4th I didn't smoke at all, which makes it 7 days).

I am incredibly surprised and appreciative of all the support and love I've received from you guys on this front! Yes, this is a choice I made and an achievement I am putting the work into, but having support from you all motivates me to keep up with this promise I made to myself, and for that I want you all to know how thankful I am for you saying all the kind things. Via rep, via this thread, via my fitness/nutrition blog post, etc. Just thank you so much ♥
